Size & fit

Which helmet size do I need?

The AWAKE from 720 Protections comes in two sizes: M for a head circumference of 53–56 cm and L for 56–59 cm. Measure your head first and choose the size whose range includes your measurement.

How do I measure my head circumference?

Place a flexible measuring tape around the widest part of your head, about one finger above your eyebrows and ears. Read the value in centimetres and compare it with the size ranges: M = 53–56 cm, L = 56–59 cm.

What can I do if my helmet does not fit?

You can return a 720 Protections helmet within 30 days, as long as it is unused and in its original packaging. The return shipping cost is deducted from your refund. All details are in our returns policy.

What is the difference between AWAKE and CIRCLE?

The AWAKE is the mountain bike helmet from 720 Protections with a polycarbonate outer shell; it costs 229 € in matte and 199 € in glossy. The CIRCLE is the city helmet with a shell made of PRP polymer, available in sizes M and L. Both helmets are built with HexaGo® technology.

HexaGo® technology & safety

What is HexaGo®?

HexaGo® is the patented honeycomb core of 720 Protections helmets. It is made of H.E.A.P. (High Energy Absorption Polymer), an elastic material that absorbs impact energy and returns to its shape afterwards. You can read more on our technology page.

Does HexaGo® also protect against rotational impacts?

Yes. The HexaGo® honeycomb core absorbs both linear and rotational impacts. This protection is built into the core of the helmet, so no additional rotational insert is needed.

Are 720 Protections helmets certified?

Yes, 720 Protections helmets are certified to EN 1078, the European standard for bicycle helmets. In its impact test, this standard allows a maximum of 250 g to be transmitted to the head.

How does HexaGo® perform in the lab test?

In the lab test, 111 g are transmitted to the head with HexaGo®. The EN 1078 limit is 250 g, and an average helmet reaches 171 g according to Folksam data.

Has 720 Protections won any awards?

Yes. 720 Protections received the Red Dot Award in 2020. The helmets are made in Italy.

Care & lifetime

Do I have to replace my helmet after a crash?

After a serious crash, a helmet should be replaced. This also applies to 720 Protections helmets with HexaGo®, even though the honeycomb core returns to its shape after an impact.

Does the HexaGo® core stay deformed after an impact?

No. H.E.A.P., the material of the HexaGo® core, is elastic and returns to its shape after an impact. After a serious crash you should still replace the helmet.

Shipping & returns

How much does shipping cost?

720 Protections ships free of charge within the EU. Shipping to Switzerland and the United Kingdom costs 14.99 €.

How quickly will my order be shipped?

Orders at 720 Protections are processed within 1–3 working days. Shipping within the EU is free.

Can I return my helmet?

Yes, you can return your order within 30 days. The item must be unused and in its original packaging. You will find the details in our returns policy.

Who pays for the return shipping?

The return shipping cost is deducted from your refund. It is between 6.90 € and 9.80 € depending on the country, and 14.99 € for Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
